Hello :)
Let me tell you about a pepper plant from Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Plant :) I work there as a setter-up of non-destructive control devices.
Here we grow a very interesting capsicum, which is common annuum with uncommon properties.
First of all, it grows fine on northern windows where other chilies do not feel well. Winter days here are full of cold wind from bad windows, hot air from heat radiators, and other bad for peppers things.
Then it is enough prolific in these conditions. It's flowers are full of pollen, also it bears seedless (non-pollinated) fruits in winter. Grows as a tree, but not stretches in a liana.
And the last fact is that it's fruits are really tasty, aromatic, sweet, crispy, juicy and hot. I've compared it's heatness with my Tabasco, Cayenne and others known cultivars - it's the hottest. Much hotter than all the others. And even hotter than my Peach Habanero. It's uncommon for annuums, eh?
This cultivar was presented to me by my colleague and friend Nikolay Shavkuta. He died two weeks ago...
In memory of him I want to spread this cultivar all over the world. I named it Laminada, that means "Rolling" as in Tube-Rolling in Spanish (well, one more Spanish or Portugese name for chili :) It sounds good as for me). I wish you will like it.
Fatalii, Laminada's seeds will be sent to you with that little wild annuum. Others may obtail it's seeds by PMing me, as about other seeds.

Boris, it's a very kind and honoring to spread around the seeds that were originally spread by a person that died recently.

Sounds kinda special too, can you tell is it any cold tolerant? I'm looking for some great cold tolerent properties for cold tolerant dutch-habanero. C. flexuosum would be great but it's not ideal for setting fruit so I need to check some alternatives.

Thanx for that. Really.
Lainauscan you tell is it any cold tolerant?

I can't be sure. Cause they stay alive in a draught from window cracks, but air's temperature is not too low because of radiators. Else we will freeze here. So window-sill temperature is hardly lower than +7..+10.
But it still is the best as a hardy plant than can survive in a cold overwatered soil and hot dry air from radiators.

Well, I still have to germinate two more batches because of the seeds I'm waiting for... just can't wait till next season.
I could try those chiles too and see if they're cold tolerant when the autumn comes.. :)

I guess it would be better to pack seeds from different plants of Laminada to different packages. If cross-pollination happened.
Now four berries from wild annuum are drying, seeds from just eaten Laminada pod lie alongside, and some dried seeds of it are ready to be sent. Another nice big pod of Laminada is ready, I'm going to cut it right now.
Maybe I should make some pics? I'll go and do.
