Been looking at your bonchi pictures and i notice that alot of them have several thick branches/stems growing from the bottom of the main stem. Do you cut the main stem early on to force the branching out from the bottom or how do you do it

Any tips on best EC or CF values in the different stages of growing chillies?

And do i retract the amount measured in the water, before i add anything to it, from the disired value ?

ex. clean water is 4 CF, and i want 20 CF. Is my target CF then 24. And does this transfer to EC also?

i dont know how high they will get, but i believe that rocoto is somewhat suited for the cooler climate.

I was wondering if you NEED an airstone for the DIY Ebb & Flood system (http://www.fatalii.net/growing/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=118&Itemid=69)

I know it's not used in the guide, but i have seen some very similar designs and they use airstone.

Does it make any difference to the working of the system and health/growing rate of the plants???

And btw, does anyone have the name of the inlet used in the guide, i can't seem to find that little piece anywhere for a fair price anyway..
