Are you growing the Lance first time?

Lee, that's my first Lance. It's about 1,5 years old now. Last yield was one berry an that's it...  I didn't have proper lights that time. Now there are about 10 "berries" ripening. One has just started to turn red!  I cutted that lanceolatum down in the end of last summer. It was so bushy!

Damn I hope to get more then just 1 pod. One of my Lances still has his seed shell on and is hardly 1 cm tall.

I hope it will survive.

The first seeds are germinating. Took 3 days. 2x Aji Cito, 1x Fatalii yellow  . All fatalii.net seeds. New record for me

1 seed of each variety transferred to soil.

We'll see if CGN 22084 germinates...

Have you tried moisturising the seed shell to get it softer and easier to pop off?

Little update

Today again some seeds sprouted. CAP217 Hyper pube, Aji Cristal and Bolivian Rainbow.. Again transfered 1 of each to soil.

Nice looking rhoms! What is that red you use top of the pots?

I have Seramis on top of soil. It's some kind of dried clay. It absorbs water very good and decorative purposes

Hi Patrik,

That Seramis is great. Its actually designed to minimize watering your plants. What they usually do is. Fill the pot 1/3 with seramis then add plant with rootball and fill the pot up with seramis. Other advantage is that roots get a lot of oxygen.
But that Seramis is expensive. 2 Liters about €4.
I will do a trial withone of my peppers to see how well they do. Interesting stuff.
