Otsikko: Please help me with some basics

Hi there,

i have been growing my own chilies for 2 years now and few weeks ago i found your Bonchi site and now i want to turn all my chilies into bonchis at the end of the season (or as many as i can place on my windowstills). But there are few issues i need your help with. I grow my chilies from seeds and they all have long straight stems which bifurcate in 2 branches (and so on). I cant imagine how I would turn them into bonchis unless i want them all to have same shape. Should I shape stems now, when they are young (2,5 months old) and easier bendable?
Next i wonder how long you are able to keep anuums alive? (they are supposed to be a one-year plants or at least i thought so-thats why i dump them all at the end of the season) This year i have rocotos too and they are supposed to live much longer, so i cant wait to turn them into bonchis. I got them from cuttings and their shapes are much more interesting then those i grew from seeds.

Thats all for now, but im sure i will have more questons later as im new to this.
Thanks, Vlada

If you want a good yield, don't cut. But if you want nice bonchis, you have to cut.
