Hi all!

Please suggest what new stuff would you like to see on fatalii.net site on the future.

Articles? what kinds of articles?
Pictures? Tell me what kinds of pictures you'd like to see and I will shoot them.
Other ideas?

If you are willing to help, articles about anything chile related are great!
There are many very helpful guys out there who have been helpful with the fatalii.net site, so THANK YOU!
If you have extra time and like writing (in english) and have some ideas, please let me know and I might be able to help you starting your own mighty chile jungle! :)

Even though there will be other stuff too like music and photography, the main thing will be chiles, so don't  worry! :)
BTW. same thing with music and photography articles, if you are able to help, would be great!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I would like to read more finnish. It would help me learning chiles but I also understand this site is international.

Fatalii

I'm sorry to inform that the pages will be in english in the future too, the answer is simple, that way they serve a larger group of chileheads. Most Finns are also very capable of understanding english which make the selection even more easy.

Updating several languages is just something that doesn't work. There would be way too much work and the updates would happen much more rarely.

I'm sorry. :(

Then again, I will be publishing Finnish guides as paper versions in the future too for people who aren't able to read english well enough. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the feedback!

Some thoughts on adding information to the variety description in the site.

-Add heat levels to the site like you have it in the seed bags. If the knowledge is there, why not add it to the site's description so that people know the heat level before they buy.

-The information in the seed site is mostly about pods and their taste. Add some more informations on the plants themselves and what they like. I, for one, grow my plants on a windowsill in about 18 cm (diameter) pots and thus would like to know the growing condition requirements of the plants and how close you can put them to each other.

Fatalii

Good ideas!

About the sizes of the plant...
You can actually fully choose the size, like I grew my 4 meter starfish as 15cm Bonchi later on..

But it would be good to mention which plants are large!
And in some cases, even more detailed information about the plants themselves.

Thanks for the ideas!

The biggest problem with most forums is continuity of information over time, leading to confusion..wrong names pictures and size, color etc of variety's,each forum should have a database with variety's in the there correct sections with users adding pictures and all additional information they can.
Then as time goes buy the information can be re-read by old and new members and a continuity will benefit everybody on the forum,l  like your take on doing this `j` would be glad to help if i can  :)

Species/variety recognition

You have a tendency of sending surprise seeds to people as extras. What I'd like to see would be a comprehensive list of species and varieties that can be found from surprise seeds and a few pictures from each variety to help people recognize their plant. This way, people who grow the surprise chilis could look narrow down the search for their suprise chili variety to those varieties their plant can possibly be and recognize the plant.

Fatalii

Thats a nice idea but there's something like 1000-2000 varieties included so it would be quite lot of work to list the possibilities :D

Sorry!

Fudurez

I've always wondered how do you do those surprise chili seedbags. Do you just take a few seeds of all varieties in it or do you fill those up with seeds that you have mixed accidentally?

Fatalii

Suprise seeds is a mix from seeds taken from around my collection and mixed together.

You can have virtually anything from those. Even some wild species I haven't grown just yet...

I would like to see an article on successful pepper stem fusing, please.

I have several breeds of small ornamental peppers that I would like to make bonchis out of, but fear that the stems will not be thick enough for a good looking piece.  I'd like to see some information on what all is involved with fusing two or more plants together.  Is it just gently twisting the stems together, tying them up, and hoping for the best?  Do you get better results if you score the insides of the stems that will be touching so they are more likely to heal together?  That sort of thing.

Hello.
How about making the chat bigger? You can scroll up and down, but instead of that,i would rather make it bigger. So i could just pull it up,and strech it.
