ok no problem for me  8)
I thought the the most important thing in macro shots is just choost which ones
you'd like to see(for ex. on minis), and then watch them in real size.

but, I could upload let's say 500x500,
next delivery - after this weekend, sunday evening probably...of course if the weather  will be kind  ;)

After a long time I'm updating a few photos.
In half of June there was accicent in my GH, all chinenses almost fried to death. They were not warmed up properly and had to small pots.
2 sunny days, and temperature in GH jumped to 45oC. See the result:

After quick overwatering, and cooling, most of them we managed to rescue. Half with inly few top leaves.

Now everything is OK, but weather in Poland is very tricky ;) Week of sweltering heat, and then week of heavy rains and temperature below 20oC.

Some vars. are very sensitive to NPK changes and lacks (Rocoto, Hot Paper Lantern) and they're keep loosing flowerbuds, but I hope Biobizz Biobloom will solve the problem.

Yellow mushrooms - all 4 plants with plenty of flowers and fruits

So do Cobras

Rocoto Red - only few fruits FOR NOW
gatunkiem z udomowionych chili, wtorek-środa będzie już na szczęście BioBloom

Goronongs Yellow - superb progress, if they weren't burnt, they would hit the roof now  8)

Fataliis - looove hot weather, but only few flowers now

Experimental bushy Bhut

Birds Eye keeps fruiting, or maybe it's not BE (it was sent to me like BE, but reather looks similar to Thai)

Jalapeno Purples - fruiting as mad, would be a lot of stuff to grill and fresh on sandwitches ;)

Cyklon x jalapeño Purple - some cool stuff is happening here, fruits look like Cyklons but colour like jalapenos -> I'm curious about heat and taste, can not wait   ;D

and here about 60% of plants, the rest is in the other rooms grouped by varietes

cheers!

Traditional growing / Vs: What's with those plants
heinäkuu 08, 2010, 18:31:27 ip
One guy from our polish board uploaded few photos of his plants. He's got chiles in all rooms, but in one of them
plants looks like disaster. Youngest leafs started to roll-on, flowerbuds fell off, and they've started to look like sticks.
What could be wrong here? Lack of Calcium? Huge overfertile? Mold? Fungus?

Traditional growing / GHE Flora Series/GHE One Part
maaliskuu 31, 2010, 18:49:26 ip
Hi!
Last year I was using Chilli Focus and one polish fertilizer for peppers and tomatos.
This season I'd like to try something new.
I've read lot about it, and chosen few brands.
HESI, GHE and BioBizz.
But now, few technical difficults. BioBizz is very hard to get in Poland
and prices are from outer space (1,5-2x higher than in rest of Europe - SICK!)
So HESI and GHE left.
I've found many many positive opinions on GHE Flora Series and GHE One Part+Ripen,
I've figured that one of those sets would be good.
Look quite the same...

Does anyone use one of them in soil?

Very VERY cool!
Devil's Tongue White is the one I like the most here, it's so unusual.

BTW:
How do you fertilize?

germinated till TODAY: 110/~175
only the hottest C.chinenses are going slower, but the good news is that
all varietes germinate and seed husks(?) get off without any help

few photos

toothpick flags were replaced with supercool plastic ones coz' of mold   ;)
it should be obvious that wood + high humidity and temperature = mold, but.... ;D
anyway everything is going just quite right

Hi there, I've started my season later than most of you, but earlier than in 2009 thou :).
Unfortunately my hydroponics project won't start, maybe 2011 would be "THE HYDRO YEAR".
But I'm not here to cry, but write something and show some photos.
This season is much bigger. No almost-random seeds, only choosen ones.
Heat combined with great taste was a leading plan for my cultivars.

MENU

C. chinense

- Bhut Jolokia
- Chocolate Bhut Jolokia
- Habanero Brown
- Habanero Red
- Habanero Orange
- Fatalii
- Goronong Yellow
- Hot Paper Lantern

C. annuum

- Jalapeno Purple
- Bolivian Rainbow
- Squash Yellow
- Cayenne Golden
- Birds Eye
- Cobra

C. baccatum

- Aji Benito

C. pubescens

- Rocoto Red

Crosses

- Cyklon x Jalapeno Purple
- Jalapeno Purple Cyklon

I'm going to do lot of crosses this year. I'd have much time for chile things,
and of course a private greenhouse from the begining, not since july (like it was last time).

Everything's started on 7th of March.
Seeds are in cells now, almost 200 of them.
I did some preplanting soaking in chamomile tea.

seeding soil with perlite

some time later

hand-made flags in every cell are the best :D (thx to my GF)

+bonus
last-year orange habanero is waiting to have roots cut, trimming and repoting

Any news SOON!

another C. pubescens, C. eximum and C. cardenasii
17
why on few photos seeds are on the surface, and IN THE soil on others?
and what's in the soil mixture on photo with Pimenta Barra-Do Ribeiro and Locato?

maybe it's F1 after some crossing
in that way 3 purple and 1 white would fit

I would suggest not to use clay as much.  (deep)
With ebb, only 10cm or so has been enough for all of the chile varieties I've tried with it so far.

With soil growing, 10cm is more like a joke, but not with ebb :)

Only 10cm, it's good information, not to waste to much clay....and money :).
And the same in big containers, where we have more plants?
I understand there is nothing wrong when roots interlace?
