If you are very interested about rare chilis, read this:
http://www.saunalahti.fi/thietavu/
That is in finnish language, but you find "Wild capsicums" from left side of the page. That's only in english.

hi im back
sorry i took so long i was having computer problems!

yeah! i also think chillis are the best too
im literally amazed on how many chillies there are in the world
how about you?
also i believe im the first person to get C.lanceolatum in australia and its a seedling about 2" high
i also have a theory for a good chilli growing mix which is compost made from grass clippings to give nitrogen
for plant growth &banana peels to give potasium for fruit (chilli)bareing and perlite for weel drainage and coconut
pete to retain moisture
What do you think!.

Ryhis

Well, I use commercial fertilizers, as almost everybody here in Finland. A bit quiet here in the English section, have you tried google-translator for the Finnish articles? Lot's of info here, about chillies.

Im just gonna use this thread ,so im not making another one, becouse i see there is a couple similar to this one.

Hy,im Šiprim,i come from Slovenia  :) When i told my friends that im going to start growing chiles, they all got exited,so we ordered some seeds at fatalii.net  :) Its my first time growing chiles(starting next year in february),and i was so exited, that i needed to have the seeds as soon as possible.I was checking the site everiday, looking at youtube clips, reading articles etc. So,the seeds arrived, and i was happy as can be.Got some extra seeds and a surprise mix,so its defenatly worth buying for more then 15 euros.Tnx for the extra seeds by the way, very nice of you :) And ofcourse,me and my friends are going to be sharing the seeds :)

The cool this is,that in some of the bags, there was also some small chilli flakes/dust that came with the seeds.I just had to stick my finger in the habanero bag,so that the flakes got on my finger.Finger licking GOOOD  8) So yea Fatalii, you dont have to be steril with the seeds. You can leave some chili flakes along with the seeds :D Have a nice day everibody   ;) Cant wait till febuary :)

LupeKani

Welcome! In my opinion you have to order some new seeds, because those peppers are hot as hell or taste like shit... Habaneros are tasty and extremely hot! But Bolivian rainbow is better knowed by beauty, not taste. Taste is not so good. Like the others in your pic. Only one i heard is good, is Aji Norteno.
Dont look that, is it easy to grow. All the chilies are easy to grow, if circumstance are good for that chili ;)
I say, try to find some guys in this forum who send you some Aji Cristal, Lemon Drop and differend kind good tasting chilies seeds. Sorry about my bad english, but welcome again :)

siprim

Tnx for the kind words :) I can always dry the hotter chilies or make a sauce/flakes.I wasnt really going for the taste with the beauty pepers, but i think that italiano and canijo will do just fine for now.Yea its probably a good idea to make friends here for free seeds :)I was kinda hoping that aji cristal would be in the mistery surprise seed mix  that i got :P That would be awsome. But there probably isnt one :)

Iivari

Season 2012 (february to august for me) has been my first with chillies and I had both Canijo and Italiano in my growing list. Both were very easy to grow, quite hot and nothing too good for taste. But as a first season it's very important to get good growing experience, so it's good to start with the easy ones. If you guys are interested to get some free seeds, send me a private msg with your full address and I'll send some.

The link in my signature saying "Iivarin siemenlista" you can see the seeds I'm currently having.
The other link you can find my season diary and see how Italiano and Canijo will look like when growing.

Good luck for the season 2013 siprim & friends!
