Ilokseni huomasin, että viimeisessä Viherpihassa oli chilijutun lisäksi myös mahdollisuus tilata taimia.

Soitin tuonne puutarhalle ja heillä oli myynnissä Jalapenoa, Cayennea ja Cascabell lajikkeita.

Sanoivat, että taimia on vielä muttei välttämättä riitä koko kevääksi, koksa kysyntä on ollut hyvä.

Kannataa pitää kiirettä jos haluatte jotain noista lajikkeista.

Huomasin itsekin tuon samaisen ilmoituksen ko. lehdessä, mutta ei kyllä oikein houkuttanut tilaamaan.
HInta oli melkoinen ja lajikkeetkin kaikkein tavallisimmasta päästä.  No cascabel ei välttämättä, mutta sekin kuitenkin tulee suhteessa halvemmaksi jos siemenet tilaa jostain (vaikka Jukalta) ja kasvattaa itse siemenestä lähtien. Ja saa erikoisempiakin lajikkeita. 8)
Sitäpaitsi minun mielestäni hommassa ei olisi mitään hohtoa jos niitä chilejä ei kasvattaisi siemenestä lähtien.  :)

Eilen tai edellispäivänä oli kuulemma puutarha.netissä tullut joillekin ihmisille seuraavanlainen yksityisviesti:

"hei kaikki chileihin hullaantuneet! Nyt olisi ainutlaatuinen tilaisuus kartuttaa omaa kokoelmaa. Meillä on myynnissä 32 eri lajiketta. Ainoastaan 1-5 kpl/laji.Hinta 8.50 e./ kpl. Tervetuloa! Överbyn Puutarhamyymälä, Espoo puh. 09-31547888. Avoinna ark.9-17 lau.10-14""

Itse kyllä tilasin ja vaikka mietin tuota hinta asiaa myös, huomasin, että ei ne loppujen lopuksi tule yhtään kalliimmiksi ja saan varmasti kunnon taimet ja satoa reilusti.

Sen verran olen kuullut että taimet tuolla puutarhassa ovat olleet aina ensiluokkaisia ja hyviä. Siksi uskalsin itsekkin tilata.
