Hi all! I've bought a waterfarm for myself and have already set it up with a Starfish seedling :-)
It was not easy to decide what variety to give this privilege to, but with some help from Fatalii and Manux, I finally decided a baccatum would be a good choice.
I'll post some pictures here, as soon as they get more interesting than just a tiny little seedling sticking out of a ton of clay pebbles ;-)
Good luck with it!
Just keep in mind that small seedlings are very fragile... especially when they've been just planted, even in waterfarm.
Yeps, that's true. I've almost killed some seedlings last year, but still they seemed to be tough enough to stand my clumsiness ;-)
The seedling in the waterfarm is growing nicely. The other seedlings I've transplanted to some small pots with soil+vermiculite+perlite as an experiment to see how they go. Everyone says vermiculite+perlite are good stuff, but I have to see with my own eyes (especially if it indeed is good stuff!)
