Where did you get this variety from? "Pimenta doce" is a very broad name, since it simply means sweet (non-pungent) pepper...

Ahhmmm... No... I sent you some "Murupí Doce"...

Murupís look a little bit like "gusano".  A little bit of a caterpillar look.  How do the "normal" chiles look in that plant?

Is that Murupí Doce a C. chinense? I got it as being a C. chinense, but I'm not sure whether it is... I've one growing, but I'm not sure if I mislabeled it, 'cause it looks like a C. annuum.

I must have mislabeled mine, then. I'll have to wait till it starts producing pods to know for sure which one is which.

This variety has a very good taste/smell but it's not pungent.  Great for seasoning.

I had a Whippet`s Tail grow in a complete spiral,didn`t get a pic,though, before somekind of wasp laid it`s eggs in there,and the fruit rotted...

I have a tiny Cayenne Slim forming quite strangely now too.  I'll take some pics when it gets a bit bigger and post it here. :)
