I'm a begginner chilli lover from Brazil, male, 35 years old, Chilli and Rugby lover.
What a *Huge* amount of plants!
Yes, was a "good" begin...I received a lot of pepper from membres of Brazilian Forum, www.pimentas.org/forum...
Olà Claudio,:D
these varieties of chili peppers you will cultivate them all this year?
I see in your list also the Italian varieties that I have sent in brasil.
Very well
Luigi
If that`s a beginners list in Brazil, I don`t want to see the one titled "experienced" ;)
Welcome, all the same :)
Yes, the italians peppers came from you, thank you again. Hey mate, did think about brazilian fruits? When you send something to Brazil Could you send some Nuclear Chinenses, if is possible, of couse. Would you like something of my list?
My best regards,
I have a long list because of help of my friends in Brazil and around of the world, I have a friend in Helsinki, Luca, he is a pepper lover, too. Here is the sun's country and we can cultivate peppers during all year. I'm beggining and put on soil all seeds that I could.
My best Regards,
up

Very nice. I am also growing Biquino ( from a trader in Brazil) and a two years ago grew Chupetinho ( from an Italian)--similar or the same pepper with variations?

What does Biquinho taste like? And what's the heat level?
Hello everybody
If i am not wrong, chupetinha (the right name of the pepper) and biquinho are the same pepper. This pepper is very popular in Brazil and people eat this pepper pickled, chupetinha is a mild pepper.
Cheers
Gonzalo
Yes, Gonzalo is right. Chupetinha and Biquinho are the same. These two words actually are synonyms. Some regions use the word Chupetinha for rubber nipple and other regions call it Biquinho ;)
It's a very mild chile, with almost no heat at all. It has a nice chinense-type fruity taste.
There is also a hot version of it, which is usually called "Biquinho Ardida" (ardida means "hot").
Such a beautiful chili! I had to come to take a second look at it...
I haven't tasted the Biquinho yet but my notes on Chupetinho say " nice sweet taste, starts mild then gets moderately hot"
