Otsikko: Pepper Leaf Issue
Kirjoitti: se7en - maaliskuu 09, 2007, 21:24:58 IP
Hello,

I'm fairly new to growing peppers.  Last year was my first and I had a blast!  This year  I noticed something odd on some of the leaves on my Bolivian Rainbow pepper plant.  There appears to be little crystal flakes on some of the leaves.  Here's a picture:

Any idea what this could be and how to deal with it?

Thanks!

Hello!
That's how leaves look like when you overwater the plant. Cut down watering and let it dry so much that the leaves start hanging. Then it's time to water it again. Depending on where you are groving chilies, the plants need even less water during the winterperiod. So instead of lots of water seldom, give them a small amount every now and then, but the soil shoudn't be moist all the time.

Yours
Kaj

Thank you for the suggestion.  I will try watering less frequently and see if it helps.
