Hello! My name is Maria (as the name is taken here in the Forum I'm using Pimentinha which means little pepper in Portuguese) and I belong to a Brazilian site about peppers. A Finnish member from here posted a link over there and that's how I found you!
Although I'm Brazilian, I live in Luxembourg and I would love to learn how to grow at least one type of pepper I love, and that I can't find anywhere in the supermarkets here! The name is Cambuci, it's a sweet variety of Capsicum baccatum, and you can see the picture here:

I got the seeds but my problem is how to grow it... nobody in Brazil can advice me on European products, like the substrate, the fertilizer, the right time to plant the seeds, to transplant them, etc... I'm so lost! I usually buy my products in Luxembourg where I can find German made and French made products, so if any of you can give me some hints, I'll be really grateful!
:)
Hello Maria! Welcome!
There are good instructions available made by one finnish grower:

Are you going to grow your chiles on hydroponics or in soil?
Hello and welcome here on my behalf too...
and chles grow here like brazil... only difference is that here we must use heating and artifical light part of year
Herra, I think it was you who posted the link to this site on the Brazilian pepper forum, am I right? Thank you so much!
And thank you, Volitans, those two links are the best! I'll print them and follow step by step, I am more confident now. If the seeds are good, I should be eating my favorite pepper in some months!
You guys rock!
I think so that i post it ;)
