Otsikko: DIY Ebb and Flow Tray Construction Question
Kirjoitti: rrfsgh - helmikuu 18, 2010, 05:55:47 ap
I want to make the plywood and epoxy paint type trays that are shown here:  http://www.fatalii.net/urban/u3-4.jpg and here http://fatalii.net/growing/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=86&Itemid=100

I was wondering about epoxy paint as I have never worked with it.  Do you know where to find this type of paint and do you have a particular brand/part number of paint that is recommended?  I looked into marine bottom paint but it seems to run about $150/gallon.

Thank you! ??? ???

Hi there!

The thing you need to get i standard epoxy if you can´t find just buy some bathroom primer it´s all about not letting the water getting to the wood. Or some pond plastic to cover your container. I´ve used bathroom primer in my systems and it works great. It´s alittle bit more expensive but it works.
