Well, it's not Black Pearl. It is something like Pretty purple. I have both of them :)

I have two plants there. One is green-leaved, the second is purple-leaved. The second is a seedling from the first - what a nice crack :)

It has much darker foliage and a very bushy growth habit. Leaves are bigger btw. Flowers and berries could be in clusters if pollination is well :)
The last pics, that how my black pearl looked like during the summer outdoors.
The same plant pruned and moved to indoors windowsill later produced much greener leaves and much more spindly growth.
I'm currently working on a few ornamental annuum bonchis, hope they will turn out nice at autumn!

Some varietes get purple foiliage when they sprout and some green.Even same seed batch is lots differents.
I got lots purple varietes this year,some plants is turn purple under lamps some when i moved them windowsill.
My Black Pearls are getting darker when i moved they in greenhouse,in windowsill they didn't get any purple foliage.
Pretty purple is a lovely looking plant Jah,My Favorite Purple plants are Pimenta De Neyde ,Pimenta Morango,Maui Purple,Royal Black,Black Cuban,Trifetti/Varigata,Serrano Purple,Naga Jolokia Purple. :)
Damn those 2 vars. are so beautiful, really worth growing. Too bad I still have limited space to grow more vars. but there are some plans to move, gonna get me a big as. garden :)
