Claudiotxr,  I've been going through your seed list again  .  Can you please tell me about the Pimenta de Mesa bacattum.  When do you start your seeds in Brazil?

Lainaus käyttäjältä: "koolguymike"hello claudiotxr,

i am also interested in some of you peppers seeds. what most appeals to me are the Peito de moça bacattum you have listed in the diary section, but i am also interested in the look alike chinense called; Biquinho chinense. they are both very neat looking peppers. i am looking for a few more bacatuums to add to my collection and who doesnt love a chinenese.

here is my trade list (not the most up to date)

i sure hope we can work something out for some Peito de moça bacattum seeds, since i am very low on sourses for that interesting looking plant.

happy gardening
Michael in Canada

Hey Michael,

I can help you out with Biquino (chinense) and Chimayo seeds.   Maybe if Claudiotxr gets some extra Peito de moça Bacattum seeds, we can share since we live fairly nearby.  I'd really like to try the Biquino Baccatum too.
Claudiotxr, I think I already asked you but what types of habs/chinenses are you looking for?

Hi,

What kinds of seeds are you looking for now claudiotxr?  Here is some of what I'm growing this year.  http://tinyurl.com/2b3ndw
I'd like to know more about the Coração de galinha bacattum if possible.  It looks like an interesting variety.

Thanks again,

Derek

Wow.  Any chance you have any seeds of the Biquinho C. Baccatum?  What are the other C. Baccatum on your list like?  If you are still looking for Naga seeds I will have some for trade very soon.  Thanks for the info.

there is a Biquinho C. Baccatum that has 10.000 scoville.

Really,  what does it look and/or taste like and are there other names that it might go by?

I am interested in many of your brazilian pepper seeds.  Like tknummelin said, it would be nice to have some more info.  I'd really like to know more about the biquinho werner.  I'm growing biquinho(Chupetinha) this year and they look beautiful but are quite seedy.  I've got lots of hab seeds and will have even more in a month or three.

The aphids got to this one

:D Thanks for all the info guys.  I've been searching for a while.  I see the chileman's database has been updated.  Always nice work Mark and Julian.  Gonz's link no longer works with new spelling so:

Great new contest Mark.  There will be huge Chile Rellenos cooking across the globe this summer.

Lainaus käyttäjältä: "luca"Have you ever heard about "pimenta biquinho" or "pimenta de bico"?

This is a very common variety of non-pungent chinense in mid-west Brazil.  I've never seen or tasted it myself, but I've read lots of great comments about them.

Here is a (not-so-good) image I found:

Hi everyone, I just found this forum while looking for info on Pimenta de Bico (or pimenta biquinho)  My friend in Brazil(unknown location) sent some seeds to me in Canada and I'm anxious to try them.  Have any of you had any success with this pepper.  It looks similar to PI 441634 but I don't know if its the same

Here's a link my buddy sent me.  Above pic not apparently working.  I guess I'm a little late on this thread

Any info would be appreciated.
