Purple in peppers

Just a few years ago it was "common knowledge" that all the (mostly ornamental) peppers with purple flowers & leaves were annuums... Now we know that this happens also with (at least) c.chinense and c.chacoense.

Now, does anyone here know if there are any varieties of c.frutescens, c.baccatum (or others) with this combination: purple leaves and flowers?

I've myself suspected the famous "Bolivian Rainbow" to be at least partly a frutescens, but who can tell, in the end... It would just appear quite strange if this "purple" thing happens with annuum and chinense, but not with their extremely close relative, frutescens...  I would suspect that it can happen at least with any member of the annuum complex and, possibly, with baccatums too.

Thoughts?
