Something interesting happened with one of my seedlings.  It branched out very early! One of my PI441551s already has three separate growing heads and it's been less than one month since I sowed it!

Is that common? Has anyone experienced that before? I can post some pictures here, in case someone is interested...

No, it's not very common, although especially with baccatums, stuff just happens... ;) Please, send some pics!

One of my bolivian rainbows is doing the same thing. It's about 5 cm tall and only 2 weeks old (since sprouted). Stupid seedling.

Sorry, I didn't post this picture before, but now here it goes:

Now the seedling is about one month old and shows 3 separate growing heads... odd :-)

Click on the thumbnails above for a bigger version of the pics.  The images are not the best, but it's possible to see what I mean ;)

Damn! That was me above.  I got some problems connecting to the forum when I tried to post that message... and when it worked, I ended up posting the message twice.  And as Guest!!! What a lamer...

Intresting to see what comes out of it when it gets big. Possibly a heavily branched bush with hundreds of pods someday :D

Nice website by the way. And the meat thermometer is a must thing when it comes to pepper growing. I also use it in germination

I really hope so! :-)

Thanks! It's far far far from being ready... Actually I just registered the "pimentas.org" domain yesterday ;) The site existed for some time before, but just now I really started organizing it.  I hope I have the time (and patience) to make it look better and add the other "diaries", from which I have only the pictures so far...

And about the thermometer, yes, it is indeed useful! I don't use it very often anymore, just sometimes when I want to check how the temps are in the soil...
