7 pot cross question

I have a 7 pot/pod in a pot growing next to a piri piri, I want to keep the seeds pure because I'm really happy with the 7 pot pods I have! The question is will a 7 pot (Chinense) cross with a piri piri (Frutescens?) of should I start isolating now?
